As we continue our journey toward luxury, we’re looking for Room Attendants with a minimum of 2 years’ current hotel housekeeping experience. You’ll need a strong eye for detail, pride in your work and availability for the full 6-month contract.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12).
- Minimum 2 years’ current housekeeping experience within a hotel.
- Previous Room Attendant experience in a busy 4-star or 5-star hotel is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of guest room cleaning, linen handling and room presentation standards.
- Ability to prepare rooms efficiently within required timeframes while maintaining quality.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow Housekeeping procedures and work independently or within a team.
- Physically fit and able to perform the requirements of the role.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays for the full contract duration.
- South African ID.
- Updated CV with contactable references.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms for arrivals, stayovers and departures.
- Making beds, replacing linen and thoroughly cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Replenishing amenities and ensuring rooms meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Keeping your trolley stocked and organised, and using supplies responsibly.
- Assisting with corridors, service areas and designated public spaces when required.
- Reporting maintenance defects, damaged items and lost property promptly.
- Responding professionally to guests and escalating requests or concerns when needed.
- Following hygiene, health and safety procedures while meeting daily productivity standards.
