Healing Earth Wellness Escape Comes to The President Hotel

A day of mindful movement, nourishing food and natural beauty on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard

The President Hotel is partnering with Healing Earth for a one-day Wellness Escape on Saturday, 17 October 2026, inviting guests to step away from the everyday and spend time reconnecting, restoring and slowing down.

Set between the Atlantic Ocean and Lion’s Head, the experience brings together mindful movement, nourishing food and natural beauty, beginning with a refreshing dip at Saunders’ Rock. Located just below the hotel, the local tidal pool offers an opportunity to start the day in the Atlantic before guests warm up with a restorative sauna session.

The morning continues with a mindful yoga flow led by Leigh from House of Yoga, offering time to move, breathe and settle into the day. Guests will then enjoy a nourishing wellness brunch by Wildsprout, followed by a hands-on Healing Earth Beauty Kitchen experience.

Drawing on Healing Earth’s knowledge of natural African botanicals, the Beauty Kitchen invites guests to create their own body scrub to take home, while learning more about the ingredients and rituals behind the products.

The Wellness Escape is designed to give guests space to pause while connecting with the natural environment and the sense of place that defines The President Hotel. From an early swim in the Atlantic to time spent moving, eating and creating, each part of the experience offers a different way to slow down.

For those looking to extend the experience beyond the day, The President Hotel is also offering a Wellness Staycation on the night of Friday, 16 October 2026 or Saturday, 17 October 2026. The package includes an overnight stay and breakfast, welcome herbal tea, a Healing Earth gift, the full Wellness Retreat and brunch, dinner and a 60-minute holistic full-body massage. The stay concludes with a Sleep Retreat turndown, a calming in-room ritual designed to help guests unwind and settle into a restful night’s sleep.
